Netizens Applaud Ranveer Singh’s Power-Packed Performance in Multi-starrer Dhurandhar

Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, was released today (5 December 2025). Social media erupted with early reviews. Check out some of the comments picked from several remarks from Dhurandhar's Twitter review.

Fans Praise Dhurandhar 

“Dhurandhar is a blockbuster. What a movie. Don’t fall for the negative propaganda spread by Ranbir Kapoor for Dhurandhar. It is a must-watch. #RanveerSingh is back and how. A masterpiece movie by Aditya Dhar in the spy genre. Waiting for Dhurandhar 2 now,” wrote one of them.

A major part of the early X reviews also praises the solid background score and the well-crafted action sequences by Aditya Dhar.

Dhurandhar Release Conflict 

Much of the early chatter centred on whether the film mirrored the life of the late Major Mohit Sharma, but the CBFC cleared the film after confirming there was no direct overlap, and the Delhi High Court allowed the release to proceed.

Dhurandhar has an ensemble cast with Ranveer Singh playing the lead. It also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R. Madhavan in key roles. The film's runtime is 3 hours 34 minutes.

The film sets its story against IC-814 and the 2001 Parliament attack, following Ajay Sanyal (played by R. Maadhavan) as he trains a young inmate for a dangerous undercover mission.

Spanning nearly a decade, the film also shows the part Pakistan played in major terror attacks – not just in India but globally too, with the use of archival footage. Be it the 9/11 terror attacks or the shocking one that took place in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, the makers have kept the narrative raw.
