He worked very closely with the directors and producers of the film. According to a source, this commitment coupled with the team's professionalism has enabled the production to finish filming ahead of schedule. Actor Yash, who has given a blockbuster film "KGF", will play Ravan. He will most probably start shooting for his portions by December 2024 after he wraps up his part in his current release "Toxic", which will go on the floor under Geethu Mohandas's direction.
The dream venture ropes in a sterling ensemble cast in the image of Sunny Deol, Kunal Kapoor, and Sai Pallavi. Produced by DNEG, the film house that has been known for pushing the envelope in special effects and animation within the Indian film industry, Ramayana shall not fail to raise a pulse with Oscar-winning composers A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer composing the music and background score for the film.
It brings one of the most venerated epics from India into the global public domain, promising Ramayana as a film of visual and cultural significance. And audiences are now waiting with bated breath for what could turn out to be one of the greatest films in Indian cinema.
