Google’s Pixel 6

Google and the mobile market don’t have a big connection with each other except for their long-serving ‘Android’ feature. Despite entering the mobile market in 2007, Google has maintained a low-key and stayed away from volume sellers like India. After many rumors about the unleashing of Google mobile phones, the company started its efforts from scratch by allowing independent designers to tinker with its Android software. Almost a decade later, Google is unleashing a futuristic mobile phone in the market. Google’s Pixel 6 comes with added camera features and real-time processing.

Initially, when Google announced its plan to make mobiles, the world thought that it was on the agenda of the company to gather more data. For many years now, Google has been working on organizing world data and making it universally accessible and useful for everyone. Besides the well-known Google Search, the company has initiated other efforts like Google maps, Google Ads, Google Assistant, etc to proclaim the effort. On the same line is Google mobile phones that could both bring profit to the company and strengthen its data motive. But as the trend in the mobile phone market evolves, Google’s Pixel 6, the recently launched mobile, has come out with outstanding camera advances and real-time processing.

Google’s Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro

Google has recently unveiled its two new Pixel smartphones namely Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in the market. Both of them come with new features like ‘camera bar’ on the mobile’s back and real-time processing. In previous Pixel models, the camera has wide and ultrawide lenses. The current model also follows its footprint to ignore the optical zoom camera. Google’s Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are added with a new ‘Tensor’ chip, which the company claims is the fastest they have released so far. Besides, the mobile has Android 12 features that allow users to delete unwanted things easily and remove people from images without disrupting the scene. Added with artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, the mobiles have larger sensors and much more powerful computational photography capabilities in image capture and video modes. Google’s Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro also address the long-awaited concern on darn-skinned people who looks washed out in many selfies.

Image and Video: Unlike the previous models, Google’s Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have come out with a horizontal bar on the back that contains all the camera lenses and sensors instead of putting them on the side. It also provides an improved AI-driven and machine learning-powered improved camera experience. Besides, it has a ‘magic eraser’ that detects the distractions in the picture and automatically removes them. On the other hand, the rear camera has an added advancement called ‘face deblur’ that fixes the blur in selfies.

Real-time Processing: So far, Google has used chips designed by Qualcomm on its mobiles. But with Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, the company has come up with its own chips called Tensor processor that makes processing 80% faster. For example, when used with Google Assistant, the search or communication could be faster and more accurate. Even when the phone is not connected to the internet, it can still transcribe audio.

Unfortunately, one of the saddest news about Google’s Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro is that the mobiles are not hitting the Indian market anytime soon. The company is launching the phones initially in countries like Frame, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
