War 2 Dance showdown delayed as Hrithik Roshan sustains a leg injury in the rehearsals. 

 

The most-awaited sequel, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, is facing a minor setback. Hrithik Roshan has recently sustained a leg injury which has been described as a ‘niggle.’ 

According to recent reports, there is a planned dance face-off in the movie between Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. The film, part of Yash Raj Films, promises a high-voltage action premiere. Fans have sky-high expectations surrounding War 2. 

But this temporary delay due to Hrithik Roshan’s leg injury created a ripple of concern among viewers. However, the team shall reschedule the dance sequence rehearsal to May 2025, as the doctors have suggested a four-week rest period. The directors are prioritizing Hrithik’s health and ensuring he returns in good condition. 

 

Hrithik Roshan and His Dedication

 

Hrithik Roshan is known for his intense dedication, War 2 is no exception. He signifies a commitment to both promotions and filming. He allocated more than 100 days for this movie. War 2 is expected to feature high-octane action scenes, for which Hrithik has focused on physical training. 

However, Hrithik has pushed his limits overboard during the rehearsals for an energetic song with Jr. NTR in War 2. The niggle has caused major discomfort, and doctors suggested he rest before this massive dance number. 

 

The Film Release 

 

War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in lead roles, while Kiara Advani is also a part of the cast. All other actors starring in the film have reportedly completed their shoots, photography is nearing completion, and the film is already in the post-production process.

The directors have stated there is no delay in the promotions or the release date. War 2 will hit theaters worldwide on August 14th, 2025. This is a prime-release window, as it’s a national holiday period, which typically witnesses high attendance.

War 2 is set for a box office clash with Vivek Agnihotri’s The Delhi Files, releasing on August 15th, 2025.
