'Sikandar' Gears Up for Eid Premiere: Salman Khan Leads ₹400 Crore Action Thriller
Salman Khan has charged Rs 120 crore for the upcoming action film Sikandar. This film is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is one of the most awaited Bollywood releases for 2025. The film is set to hit theatres on March 28, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr.
Salman Khan’s Payment Structure
There are reports that Salman Khan, who prefers profit-sharing deals, has received a direct payment for this project. However, it is not certain whether he will also get a share of the film's profit. The fee makes him one of the highest-paid actors in the industry.
Star-Studded Cast and Their Salaries
Apart from Salman, the cast includes Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal. Rashmika charged Rs 5 crore, having recently been high with the success of Pushpa 2 and Chhaava. Kajal Aggarwal, with her memorable roles, had charged Rs 3 crore for her work in this film.
The film also features actors like Sharman Joshi, who was reportedly paid Rs 75 lakh for his appearance in the film, and Prateik Babbar, who in turn is said to have received Rs 60 lakh. South star Sathyaraj, popularly known as Kattappa of Baahubali fame, is also part of the cast, earning Rs 50 lakh for his role.

Sikandar has already established the hype around the world with the action-packed teaser. In an 80-second clip, Salman Khan is seen in a rugged avatar, fighting with masked and armored enemies. His intense look and great entry have raised the anticipation among fans.

The excitement reached its peak with the announcement of a new poster released by the actor, featuring him in an aggressive stance and knife in hand. With his fierce expression, intrigue went up several notches, building up expectations for the high-octane thriller.

Sikandar is marking Salman Khan's return in a lead role to the big screen after Tiger 3, and this is the first time that he is working with AR Murugadoss, the director behind Ghajini, and one who is renowned for blockbuster-style action films.
