Anunay Sood, a travel influencer aged 32, is reportedly dead on account of a drug overdose. The report published by LA-based 8NewsNow states that he was found unresponsive inside the room at Wynn Las Vegas, a luxury resort and casino.

During the investigation, a woman staying with Anunay shared that he had purchased cocaine at around 4 AM. Though the exact cause of the travel influencer’s death is not confirmed, reports hold drug overdose as the most probable cause.

Investigation Uncovers Purchase of Suspected Narcotics

Police officers discovered Sood unresponsive in his hotel room on 4 November. Documents reviewed by the outlet noted “narcotics” were located near his body. According to the report, a woman staying with Sood spoke to investigators, sharing that the group purchased what they believed to be cocaine around 4 am. They bought the substance from a man on the casino floor.

Sood, along with the two women, consumed the substance before falling asleep. However, when the two women woke up about an hour later, they found Sood unresponsive. Police recovered a small bag containing an unidentified white substance and also evidence suggesting the group had inhaled the powder. Authorities stated that no arrests have been made in connection with the case as of Monday.

During a conversation with HT.com, Las Vegas police officials said, “On November 4, 2025, LVMPD responded to a dead body located in the 3100 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. Officers assisted the coroner and took a non-criminal/medical report.”
