The Late Jamtara 2 Actor Sachin Chandwade Expressed Excitement Over the Upcoming Release of Asurvan in His Last Instagram Post
In a shocking development, Marathi actor Sachin Chandwade, known for his role in Netflix's Jamtara 2, has died by suicide. The tragedy had shaken Hindi and Marathi cinema. According to reports, the actor hanged himself on the day of Bhai Dooj.
The Incident
Sachin, 25, was found at his residence in Jalgaon's Parola, Maharashtra Times reported. On October 23, 2025, his family members found him hanging in his Pune flat and rushed him to the hospital.
He was initially admitted to a private hospital, where his condition further worsened, and the family decided to shift him to another hospital in Dhule. The efforts went in vain as doctors declared him dead on October 24, around 1:30 am.
Sachin came to his native Undirkhede in Parola tehsil for Diwali celebrations, as per reports.

Apart from being an actor, Sachin was also a software engineer. He was working at an IT Park in Pune while pursuing his passion for acting.
Family and friends remembered him as a determined person who had entertained them with his performance since childhood.

The actor came into the limelight with a beautiful performance in the popular Netflix series Jamtara 2.
He was gearing up for the release of his new Marathi series, ‘Asurvan’, and also completed shooting for a film titled ‘Vishay Close’, which was slated to release soon.

The police are currently investigating the case. Just a week before his death, Sachin shared an Instagram post expressing his excitement for the upcoming release of 'Asurvan'. Now, the comment section of that post is flooded with heartfelt condolences and shocked reactions from fans and friends.
