SRK Greets Fans on His Birthday, Security Rushes to Shield Actor from Mobbing
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, on his 60th birthday, greeted his fans who were eagerly waiting for him outside the main gate of Mannat. However, instead of his usual appearance on the house balcony, he came down to the gate this birthday.
This unexpected proximity, led to instantaneous chaos, as the frenzied crowd mobbed the superstar. Security guards immediately separated him from the crowd.
The Special Birthday Event
As a massive crowd waited to get a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan on his birthday, the actor made sure that his fans felt special. The actor had already hosted an intimate fan meet-and-greet event earlier in Mumbai.
This gathering was a substitute for his iconic balcony wave from his residence, which was called off on account of crowd controlling issues. Authorities advised the actor now to follow his traditional appearance owing to safety concerns.
The Moment the Crowd Surged and Security Intervened
After the special indoor fan meet, Shah Rukh Khan arrived to greet his waiting fans. He stepped out from behind the black barricade near the main gate of Mannat. The superstar then climbed onto the gate to offer a better view to his supporters. He waved, blew kisses, and repeatedly expressed his heartfelt thanks for their love.
One of the fans attempted to touch Shah Rukh Khan’s hand, causing the moment to instantly turn chaotic. The actor’s security guards immediately sprang into action to shield and protect him.
Earlier in the day, the Bollywood star also wrote to his fans on social media, “Have been advised by authorities that I will not be able to step out and greet all you lovely people who have been waiting for me.” Further adding, “My deepest apologies to all of you but have been informed that it is for the overall safety of everyone due to crowd control issues.”
The actor also expressed gratitude to his fans for showing the love and support, saying “Have been advised by authorities that I will not be able to step out and greet all you lovely people who have been waiting for me. My deepest apologies to all of you but have been informed that it is for the overall safety of everyone due to crowd control issues.”
