PM Modi is expected to meet with President Donald Trump during his visit to the White House. This is their first official meeting in Trump's second term.

Bilateral issues, including trade, technology, defense, and supply chain resilience, are expected to be discussed. Modi stated that the two countries would keep working closely for betterment globally.

 

Confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard as US Intelligence Chief

 

Tulsi Gabbard has been confirmed recently as the Director of National Intelligence by the Senate vote. After a period of skepticism from some members of the House, she was confirmed, making Gabbard history as the first-ever Hindu-American in this position. She pledged that she would work to refocus U.S. intelligence to re-earn the public trust in protecting national security.

PM Modi's visit is to build on the solid foundation of India-US relations.
