Hardik Pandya’s suspension makes Suryakumar Yadav MI captain

 

Mumbai Indians (MI) will be led by Suryakumar Yadav in their 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season opener against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 23rd at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium. 

Regular captain Hardik Pandya will miss the match due to a one-game suspension for maintaining a slow over-rate in the previous IPL season.
