US President Donald Trump, while attending a memorial service for slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Sunday, was seen dancing briefly and lip-synching in a viral video. The little dance move has put a smile on Charlie's widow, Erika's, face, as captured in the video.

The special event at the State Farm Stadium near Phoenix, Arizona, was attended by several top Trump administration officials, Republicans, and allies, such as Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Elon Musk, US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and conservative personality Mikey McCoy.

"My husband, Charlie, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life," Erika said in an emotional speech during the event.

Erika Kirk’s Speech

Chalie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, delivered a poignant address, mentioning she forgave the killer; "That man, that young man … I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did and is what Charlie would do. The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the gospel is love and always love. Love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us."

Last week, prosecutors filed murder charges against 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. Officials revealed Robinson had admitted to shooting Kirk to his roommate, saying in a text message, "I have had enough of his hatred."

Following the assassination, Erika was named the new CEO of Turning Point USA, the right-wing youth organization that Charlie Kirk founded. She vowed to continue her husband’s legacy, enrolling more campuses and students in the conservative movement.

Trump’s Tribute to Kirk

At a packed memorial service for conservationist leader, President Trump delivered an emotional eulogy, calling Kirk’s assassination “an attack on our entire nation”. "He was assassinated because he lived bravely, he lived boldly, and he argued brilliantly," Trump told thousands of mourners at the event, stating Kirk a "great American hero" and "martyr". He also vowed “Kirk’s legacy would endure as a model of American patriotism and free speech”.

The president announced that Kirk will posthumously receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Trump also called for “renewed national faith, law and order, and unity,” urging Americans to “honor Kirk by carrying forward his mission of defending liberty and open debate.”

Trump-Musk Reunited?

After the fallout a couple of months ago, Tesla CEO Elon Musk was seen shaking hands and talking with the US president at the event, which the White House captioned, “For Charlie,” in a post on X, with the duo’s picture from behind.

On September 10, 31-year-old Charlie Kirk died after a single gunshot to the neck during a public appearance at a Utah university. Thousands of people queued for hours outside the stadium before the event, eventually making the memorial service both a church service and a political rally.
