Dhurandhar continues its unstoppable run at the global box office, smashing records by collecting over Rs. 500 crores and rewriting benchmarks for Indian cinema worldwide. The Ranveer Singh-starrer is now poised to become the highest-grossing Indian film of the year, if it maintains the momentum.

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection

Aditya Dhar’s newest spy thriller, Dhurandhar, has registered the best second weekend for any Hindi film in history. The film has earned over 500 crores in just 10 days at the global box office.

Dhurandhar collected Rs. 59 crores net in India on the second Sunday. The espionage drama has earned Rs. 144.50 crores in its second weekend, with a dramatic 40% increase from the first weekend.

The film has now earned Rs. 351.75 crores net (Rs. 422 crores gross) in India in just ten days. Given how the film’s momentum has been, it should cross the Rs. 400 crores and Rs. 500 crores marks in the upcoming week.

Dhurandhar started its overseas journey on a slow note in its opening weekend, but the power of word of mouth has worked. According to trade sources, the film has earned over $12 million in the overseas market in 10 days, with more than $4.5 million of that amount coming in during the second weekend alone. The film’s global haul now stands at a staggering Rs. 530 crores.

Dhurandhar Surpasses Indian Superhits

On Sunday, Dhurandhar surpassed the lifetime collections of several major hits from recent years. It has crossed final global collections of Rajinikanth’s Coolie (Rs. 518 crores), Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki (Rs. 470 crores), Hrithik Roshan’s War (Rs. 449 crores), and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise (Rs. 365 crores).

About Dhurandhar

Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, was released on 5 December 2025. The film received mixed reviews, but has been lapped up by viewers.

The film sets its story against IC-814 and the 2001 Parliament attack, following Ajay Sanyal (played by R. Maadhavan) as he trains a young inmate for a dangerous undercover mission.

Spanning nearly a decade, the film also shows the part Pakistan played in major terror attacks – not just in India but globally too, with the use of archival footage. Be it the 9/11 terror attacks or the shocking one that took place in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, the makers have kept the narrative raw.

With no big releases in the next 10 days, the spy thriller appears well placed to consolidate its position among the highest-grossing Hindi films.
