"Thulluvadho Ilamai" Actor Abhinay Passes Away at 44 Following Severe Liver Disease

Tamil actor Abhinay Kinger, who was known for his impactful role in the cult hit Thulluvadho Ilamai, has passed away at the age of 44. The loss has shocked the regional film industry. The actor’s team shared this heart-wrenching news on Monday at 4 AM.

Abhinay struggled with a severe liver ailment and financial hardship. A lack of an immediate family made it even more difficult for the actor to get through the situation.

Abhinay's Career Journey and Noteworthy Roles

Abhinay Kinger began his career with the lead role in the “Thulluvadho Ilamai“, along with Dhanush, which was a great success at the box office. The film coincidentally marked the debut of both actors. Over the span of his career, Abhinay signed 15 contracts across Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada cinemas, advertisements, and voice dubbing work.

The Tamil artist voiced Vidyut Jammwal’s ‘Thuppakki’, which was released in 2012. His contributions to the film industry extend beyond acting, displaying the commitment and versatility of the late actor. 

Financial Struggles and Industry Support During Illness

As Abhinay was hospitalized for his liver disease, he sought financial help publicly to cover his medical expenses. Comedian KPY Bala was one of the first people to step forward and offer monetary support to the actor. 

Additionally, Thulluvadho Ilamai co-star, Dhanush, reportedly provided Rs. 5 lakh. Several other colleagues from the industry also supported the actor financially; however, their names haven’t been disclosed publicly yet. Abhinay last appeared in public a few weeks ago during the press conference of a film in Chennai. The film fraternity made efforts to financially support and arrange his final rites.
