'Baahubali: The Epic' Box Office: Prabhas Starrer Shoots Up on Day 9, Total India Net Collection Crosses Rs. 31 Crore

After an unexpected drop, the Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer saw a major rise in collections on the second Saturday. Despite showing this impressive growth, the movie eventually fell short of the projected Rs. 32 crore mark.

About Baahubali: The Epic
Baahubali: The Epic is a re-edited version of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, which offers enhanced visuals and remastered audio. Several songs from both the original movies have been removed, and a faster pace is maintained, offering non-stop excitement and thrill to viewers, despite the audience’s pre-existing familiarity with the story and sequence.
The film is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes long and includes a new scene featuring Nassar, adding to the excitement of the viewers.
While the re-released Baahubali: The Epic successfully leveraged its star power and nostalgia for a weekend boost, the overall collections remain measured for a franchise of this magnitude. Its day-to-day performance, marked by fluctuating collections and a Rs. 3.2 crore target miss on a growth day, suggests a predictable yet moderate success for the special anniversary presentation in a competitive market.
