Aamir Khan’s Brother Claims Isolation, No Phone, and Forced Medicines During the Year Inside the Home
Aamir Khan and his family have spoken out after new allegations by his brother Faissal Khan. They called his remarks hurtful and misleading. They said the claims about mistreatment and being locked away are not true.
In a joint statement, the family said they made all decisions about Faissal’s care together. They also said they always took advice from medical experts before acting. Every choice, they said, came from love, compassion, and concern for his health.
Family Responds to Past Allegations
The statement said this was not the first time Faissal Khan had made such claims. It explained that the family had stayed quiet before because the matter was painful and personal. They said they now wanted to clear the record and show unity.
Faissal’s remarks came in a recent interview. He said his family called him schizophrenic and dangerous to society. He claimed that Aamir Khan kept him inside his Mumbai home for over a year.
The man also stated that his phone was taken, bodyguards were placed outside his room, and medicines were given without his consent. After a year, he was allowed to shift to another home.
A Call for Privacy and Understanding
The Aamir Khan family strongly denied these claims. They said every step they took was for Faissal’s emotional and mental well-being. They asked the media not to turn a personal matter into gossip. They requested empathy and understanding instead of spreading hurtful stories.
The statement was signed by many family members. These included Aamir’s former wife Reena Datta, children Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, Kiran Rao, Mansoor Khan, Imran Khan, and others. The long list showed a united front from the extended family.
Aamir and Faissal have had issues in the past. Years ago, they went to court after Faissal lost signatory rights in a family business. He then spent 20 days in JJ Hospital for a mental health check. Doctors later said he was fit and healthy.
The two brothers have also worked together. They appeared in the 2000 film Mela with Twinkle Khanna. Faissal acted in other Aamir films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.
The family’s latest statement makes one thing clear. They stand together, deny the allegations, and have asked for privacy.
