Motorola Unveils Moto Buds+ and Moto Buds for Indian Consumers

Motorola has officially announced the launch of Moto Buds+ and Moto Buds, the company’s latest TWS earbuds, in India on May 9. These earbuds were first launched in the global market earlier this month, and with the launch of the Edge 50 series phones Moto Buds + Forest Gray coincides with Beach Sand, while the Moto Buds feature Pantone-curated shades of Starlight Blue, Glacial Blue, Coral Peach and Kiwi Green.

Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones are all set to hit the Indian market next week. The new audio devices will be available for purchase through Flipkart in the country.

The Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ launched in select global markets earlier this month alongside the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. They have dynamic active noise cancellation (ANC) and have Hi-Res Audio certifications. Both Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ support wireless charging and have a waterproof design.

The Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ are scheduled to launch on May 9 at 12:00 pm IST. Flipkart has created a dedicated microsite on its website to tease the latest Motorola earbuds.

Motorola has partnered with Bose for the audio features of the new Buds series. The Moto Buds are confirmed to be available in India in Coral Peach, Glacier Blue, Kiwi Green and Starlight Blue color variants. The Moto Buds+ are now being teased to offer Beach Sand and Forest Grey.

According to the microsite, the Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ feature Hi-Res Audio certification and three microphone systems. The Moto Buds feature a 12.4mm dynamic driver and offer an ANC feature to reduce external noise by up to 50dB. They have triple microphones and claim to give a total playback time of up to 42 hours.

On the other hand, the Moto Buds+ are teased for having dual dynamic drivers with 11mm woofers and 6mm tweeters. Up to 46dB of ANC is supported and is claimed to provide up to 38 hours of total battery life on a single charge. They have an IP54 rated build, wireless charging, and support for Dolby Head Tracking.

Pricing details for the Indian variant are not known at the moment. In Europe, the Moto Buds are priced at EUR 59 (roughly Rs 5,200), whereas the Moto Buds+ carry a price tag of EUR 149 (roughly Rs. 13,300).
