Motorola Razr 40: Foldable Smartphone Price Slashed for Accessibility Boost

The Motorola Razr 40, one of the most expensive flip-style foldables, is getting a price cut, with the device currently selling for Rs 44,999 on Amazon. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, and the device houses a massive 4,200 mAh battery, one of the largest in a flip-style foldable, and this is also one of the few foldable devices that includes a 144Hz refresh rate display.

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra and Moto Razr 40 have received significant price cuts in India. Motorola has slashed the price of Moto Razr 40 Ultra by Rs 20,000 and Moto Razr 40 by Rs 15,000, less than a year after its launch. The Moto Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra were launched in India in July 2023. Motorola also recently introduced a new Pantone color for the 2024 Peach Fuzz version of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra and it is also a part of the latest price changes.

The Moto Razr 40 is currently retailing at Rs 44,999, which is Rs 15,000 less than the launch price of Rs 59,999. The Moto Razr 40 Ultra is priced at Rs 69,999, which is Rs 20,000 less than the launch price of Rs 89,999. Both the devices come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra features a 6.9-inch pOLED display with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The cover is 3.6 inches with a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Razr 40 Ultra packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and a 3,800mAh battery with 33W fast wired and 5W wireless charging.

For photography, it has a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel main and a 13-megapixel ultrawide while the front gets a 32-megapixel camera. The Moto Razr 40 features the same fiber display as the Moto Razr 40 Ultra. The display cap is 1.5 inches.
