Today, Indian is increasingly housing international tech companies like never before. Although homegrown Indian tech firms are making a remarkable stand in the market, the country’s citizens still prefer to take over a job at international tech companies’ branches in the country. In a nutshell, big-name companies have an allure for aspiring techies in India and elsewhere. As big cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi are evolving to be major tech hubs in the country, more international tech companies are keeping their eye to expand geographically and recruit Indian talents from here. The Indian tech sector in 2021 has added over 72,000 jobs, up by 44% from about 50,000 in the previous year. Therefore, IndustryWired has listed some of the tech companies hiring Indian talents.

Cisco

Cisco is an IT and networking company that was founded in 1984 by two computer scientists from Stanford University who were seeking an easier way to connect different types of computer systems. Cisco’s networking solutions connect people, computing devices, and computer networks, allowing people to access or transfer information without regard to differences in time, place or type of computer system. Currently, the company specializes in switches, routers, cybersecurity, and IoT. Cisco commenced its India operation in 1995. Cisco currently has seven offices in the country, all located in major IT hubs. Cisco has also employed over 11,000 professionals across its branches in India. The Cisco Global Development Center is in Bangalore, the largest outside the US.

Adobe

Adobe is an American software company known for its multimedia and creative products. The company’s signature products include Photoshop, Acrobat Reader, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Founded in 1982, Adobe has creativity in its DNA. The company’s game-changing innovations are redefining the possibilities of digital experiences. Recently, Salesforce has been aggressively hiring Indian talents in the country, with 40% of the Indian workforce added in the last year alone.

Amazon

Amazon is the world’s largest online retailer and a prominent cloud services provider. Originally started as a bookseller, Amazon grew its product range vigorously and is not called the ‘all-in-one store’ for its inclusive seller range. Today, the Tech companies expanded to provide a wide variety of consumer goods and digital media as well as its own electronic devices, such as Kindle e-book reader, Kindle Fire, Alexa, etc. Amazon is guided by four principles namely customer obsession, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking.
