Logitech Meta Quest Debuts $130 MX Ink Stylus for VR: Increases Accuracy and Creativity
The stylus works as you’d expect, with a pressure-sensitive tip that works on a wide range of physical surfaces. Compared to Quest controllers, the stylus offers much higher accuracy for creating, recording, and navigation.
It has three controls on the front and a meta button on the top, adds add-ons, and is equally suitable for use as a pen or stick
Logitech recommends pairing the stylus with the MX Mat, a frictionless 2D designed specifically for the Ink tip. The pad features a "performance-tuned" polycarbonate upper surface as opposed to an anti-slip base made of 72 percent natural rubber.
MX Ink is fully customizable. Meta settings allow users to change the right or left orientation, adjust the tip pressure curve, and remap button functions.
Battery life is rated at seven hours. The Logitech Inkwell charging dock can be plugged back into the stylus via the pogo pin ports inside the pen or a USB-C cable. The dock is included in a bundle, but you can get your own stylus and save some money.
The Logitech MX Ink for Meta Quest will be available from the end of September. Pricing starts at $129.99 for the stylus by itself and goes up to $169.99 with the Inkwell charging dock. The MX Mat will currently retail for $49.99 and should be available by the end of September.
Logitech said the advice will also change, but there needs to be a word on how many will go. The wristband seems to be a quality accessory idea as well; Maybe that will come up in future research, or the coverage will be lower.
Conclusion: The design of the $130 mx ink stylus for Meta Quest VR marks an important advancement, enabling stails of ergonomics in the unique creation. Designer and vocal needs address VR innovation. Join Logitech.
