Logitech is Taking Cloud Gaming to Another Level in Handheld Set

Logitech announced its $349.99 G Cloud Gaming Handheld, which is coming out in the US. Cloud gaming utilizes data center servers to stream video games, eliminating the need to download or install PC or console games. The Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld is a gaming device that offers precision gaming controls, a large 1080p display, and taps into cloud game streaming services to provide the most versatile experience possible.

Cloud gaming is a super-exciting new way to play games. The new device will help users to play AAA games when they are away from their console or PC. And it was developed in partnership with Tencent Games and offers support for cloud gaming services like Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Nvidia GeForce Now, the cloud gaming services provided by Microsoft and Nvidia Corp respectively.  With extended battery life, built-in Wi-Fi, and ergonomic controls, the Logitech G Cloud gaming will allow you to progress through campaigns or get online for a multiplayer session.

The Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld will be unveiled at Logitech’s inaugural Logi Play event, a landmark event celebrating gaming and streaming culture. The Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and has a large 7-inch 1080p display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The Logitech handheld will be able to provide up to over 12 hours of gaming on a single charge with normal use. The G Cloud Handheld is comfortable to hold.

Logitech G provides gamers of all levels with industry-leading keyboards, mice, mousepads, headsets, and simulation products like wheels and flight sticks – made possible through innovative design, advanced technologies, and a deep passion for gaming. Furthermore, the unit will give you a wide range of ways to connect your audio devices, with its 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.1 with Qualcomm’s aptXTM Adaptive support, and a USB-C port that can be used for audio and charging.

The Logitech G Cloud offers a high voltage smart amplifier boosting the stereo speaker, and echo canceling and noise suppression for the stereo microphone. It will become more and more popular as cloud gaming services become more mainstream. The console will hopefully fit well with a variety of games and playstyles. the Logitech G Cloud could be considered as a physical extension. It also can install apps from the Play Store, which means that you can potentially use Shadow to access a gaming PC in the cloud.
