Motorola Edge 50 Pro Launches in India: Elevate Your Smartphone Experience!
After its most curios-driven teasers, Motorola India has officially announced the launch of the Edge 50 Pro smartphone soon. The teaser gives a glimpse into the design of the phone and reveals some of its features. The handset maker confirmed that the phone, which is tagged as "Intelligence meets Art", will be available for purchase on the e-commerce site Flipkart as well as offline stores.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be available in India soon, the Lenovo-owned brand announced on Monday (March 18). A dedicated microsite on Flipkart teases the design and some specifications of the upcoming Edge-series smartphone ahead of its debut. This is determined by an AI-assisted camera, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Through a post on the X, Motorola India revealed that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will soon be launched in India and is confirmed for sale through Flipkart. The teasers show the handset with curved straps and a centrally located water drop-style notch on the display to house the selfie shooter. However, Motorola did not reveal the exact launch date of the upcoming smartphone.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro Specifications
According to a leak from tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nit peak brightness. The Edge 50 Pro is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and runs on Android 14 operating system. The display teases HDR10+ certification and offers 100% coverage in the DCI-P3 color range. The display features, SGS Eye protection, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating are set in perfectly to reduce blue light exposure.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is confirmed to integrate a fingerprint scanner with the display. The upcoming phone is said to be the first Pantone-certified camera in the world. It will have three AI-enabled rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel 2µm-AI sensor.
According to a previous report, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will run on Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with 12GB of RAM. The Motorola Edge 50 is said to be official on April 3 alongside the Fusion.
