Yash Confirms Toxic Teaser Release Time: New Poster Unveiled Ahead of March Premiere
The ‘Rocking Star’ Yash is officially ending his four-year big-screen hiatus as the makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups confirmed the film’s highly anticipated teaser will drop on 20 February 2026, at 9:35 AM.
This promotional milestone marks the most significant update since the actor’s record-breaking stint with the KGF franchise. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the project is positioning itself not just as a regional powerhouse but as a global cinematic event. The project aims to redefine the ‘Pan-Indian’ label with a simultaneous English-language release.
A New Poster Ignites ‘Raya’ Fever
A new poster was released with the teaser announcement. It shows Yash in his character, Raya, standing in a bloody blizzard. He is holding a bottle while standing near the wreckage. The dark style shows the movie is a gritty action-drama for adults. It is very different from standard action movies.
The film is produced by KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. Many famous actors, like Nayanthara and Kiara Advani are in the cast. Action director J.J. Perry from John Wick is handling the stunts. "Our vision for 'Toxic' was to craft a narrative that resonates authentically with audiences both in India and globally," director Geetu Mohandas stated, as noted by The Times of India. The movie was filmed in both Kannada and English to ensure it feels natural to everyone.
Why the Rs. 120 Crore Telugu Deal and Dhurandhar 2 Clash Matter for Yash’s Toxic
Toxic is the first non-Telugu movie to get a Rs. 120 crore distribution deal in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Producer Dil Raju defended this huge price against people who said it was fake. He even offered to show his bank statements to prove the deal was real, as reported by NDTV.
This deal is important as Toxic will release on 19 March 2026 and will compete directly with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge. By getting these deals early, Yash’s team ensures they have many theaters during the holiday weekend. It is also reported that ‘Toxic’ has a massive budget of Rs. 500 crore, so it needs to be a hit in India and other countries to make its money back.
The Toxic teaser will show if Yash can maintain his popularity after KGF. The film industry will watch the box office closely on 19 March. People want to see if this ‘Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ can beat the competition and set a new record for Indian films worldwide.
