VIROSH, as named by the rowdy fans, for Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, is turning their wedding into a carefully scripted celebration. Reportedly, the cuisine is doing more than feeding guests; it’s telling the couple’s story.

Set against the regal backdrop of Mementos by ITC, Ekaaya Udaipur, the multi-day festivities feature a menu that moves from playful and personal to deeply cultural, reflecting both their public image and private identities.

The table was decorated in pastel greens and pinks, featuring fresh flowers, green apples and grapes, pearl-studded place settings, and a neatly folded green napkin embroidered with ‘#virosh’ in pink.

The night continued with a volleyball match at the poolside. Vijay Deverakonda gave his fans a sneak peek into the pre-wedding fun by sharing a moment on his Instagram story. The setup even included a floating drinks tray stocked with disposable cups and refreshing beverages, adding a touch of flair.

From Global to Grounded: A Wedding Menu that Returns to Roots

For the main ceremony, the menu is expected to move back home, literally and symbolically. A classic South Indian meal served on banana leaves, beginning with coconut water, will anchor the rituals in Telugu and Kodava customs. In a wedding, defined by scale, this choice brings a sense of grounding.
