The Wedding of VIROSH: Privacy and Luxury Details of the Udaipur Venue
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, the beloved stars affectionately dubbed ‘Virosh’ by their global fanbase, are officially set to wed on 26 February 2026. This high-profile celebration takes place at a secluded luxury heritage resort nestled in the Aravalli hills, approximately 25 kilometers outside the main city of Udaipur.
After years of intense public speculation and a private engagement in October 2025, the couple confirmed their union via emotional social media posts. They described the event as a tribute to the love received from their supporters.
Intimate Rituals and High-Stakes Security at the Virosh Wedding
The couple reached the Udaipur airport on Monday, 23 February. Rashmika wore a grey blazer, while Vijay wore a leather jacket. Their wedding shall last for three days, starting with a Haldi ceremony on 24 February. A Mehendi celebration follows on 25 February. The event is expected to have a small guest list of around 100 people. Most guests are family members or friends from outside the movie industry.
Also, the couple has banned phones to keep the event private. They want to enjoy the moment without cameras. According to a report by The Times of India, "Even the team capturing the wedding has signed NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements)," and a foreign security firm has been roped in to manage the perimeter.
What Does a Palace Wedding Like Virosh’s Actually Cost?
Hosting a wedding at a place like Mementoes by ITC Hotels Ekaaya is expensive. For a 100-person event over three days, costs stay between Rs. 1.5 Crore and Rs. 3.5 Crore. Renting the whole property for privacy is the biggest expense. This alone can cost Rs. 1.8 Crore to Rs. 3 Crore based on the season.
The ‘no-phone’ rule and extra security add more to the bill. According to Event Planet, premium logistics and guest hospitality for celebrity events can cost an additional Rs. 20 lakhs to Rs. 50 lakhs.
The couple will move the party to Hyderabad on 4 March as they are hosting a big reception at the Taj Krishna. Many famous stars from South Indian cinema will attend that event. This plan helps them balance a private wedding with a public celebration.
