Toxic, the much-awaited gangster drama had even more news with the addition of Rukmini Vasanth  joining the expanding cast.Along with Yash, Kiara Advani, and Nayanthara, Toxic is shaping itself to be one of the most ambitious pan-India projects of the decade.

Rukmini Vasanth appears to have signed on for the big film after her first on-screen presence in Kantara: Chapter 1 and may have already shot several schedules.The film also starred Tara Sutaria and Huma Qureshi.

Toxic is progressing well and actively filming in multiple locations, including Goa, Mumbai, and now Bengaluru, while reuniting all the main female leads on set. Rajeev Ravi is shooting the film; Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music (Jeremy Stack is the director of the title teaser); and British actors Darrel D’Silva and Benedict Garrett are also included in the cast. The film is being made in Kannada and English, and released in six languages. It's set to premiere on March 19, 2026, Ugadi.
