Iran Accelerates Underground Missile Defences as 2026 Satellite Images Reveal Buried Tunnels and Reinforced Nuclear Sites!
New satellite pictures show that Iran is working very fast on its military sites. On February 19, 2026, experts looked at photos of several secret spots. They found that Iran is fixing its missile bases and digging deep tunnels. These tunnels are inside mountains to stay safe from bombs. Many people think Iran is doing this because they are scared of a US attack. But the Iranian government says their work is just for peace. The US has moved many ships and planes to the region lately.
The images show a big change at the Parchin military base near Tehran. A new building there has been covered by a giant “concrete sarcophagus.” Then, workers put dirt on top so it looks like a normal hill. Experts say this is to hide a site called Taleghan 2. This site might be used for nuclear weapons research. At the Isfahan nuclear plant, Iran has buried all three tunnel entrances with soil. This makes it very hard for any soldiers or bombs to get inside the underground bunkers.
At another site called Pickaxe Mountain, there is even more work. Satellite photos show many cement mixers and dump trucks moving in and out. They are making the tunnel walls much stronger than before. Iran is also fixing the roofs on missile bases in Shiraz and Qom. These bases were damaged in fights last year. Now they look ready to use again. Experts say Iran wants its weapons to be “unreachable” from the air. This shows they are preparing for a long war from underground.
The US government is watching these sites very closely. President Trump is talking to his team about what to do next. Some people say a strike could happen very soon. Iran is trying to protect its most important gear before that happens. The satellite images prove that both sides are getting ready for a big fight. The situation in the Middle East is very tense right now.
