According to reports, the company has removed a total of 12 prepaid recharge plans from its bouquet. These prepaid recharge plans range in price from Rs 151 to Rs 3,119. Before this change, Jio prepaid recharge plans included a Disney+ Hotstar premium subscription. Currently, the company's portfolio includes only two prepaid recharge plans that include a Disney+ Hotstar subscription. Jio has discontinued all recharge plans that included a Disney+ Hotstar subscription. Prepaid Jio recharge plans that still include a Disney+ Hotstar subscription. Jio prepaid recharge plan of Rs 1499
This recharge plan provides 2GB of data per day for 84 days, for a total of 168GB of data in that period. In addition, the Rs 1,499 recharge plan includes unlimited voice calling and SMS, as well as access to Jio apps such as JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud. Finally, this package includes a one-year premium subscription to Disney+ Hotstar.
Jio prepaid recharge plan of Rs 4,199
This recharge plan provides 3GB of data per day for 365 days, for a total of 1095GB of data per year. In addition, the Rs 4,199 recharge plan includes unlimited voice calling and SMS, as well as access to Jio apps such as JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud. Finally, this package includes a one-year premium subscription to Disney+ Hotstar.
Why did Jio stop offering these recharge plans?
It is worth noting that Jio has not stated why it has discontinued these recharge plans, but it is widely assumed that the decision has something to do with streaming rights for the upcoming IPL season.
