On Saturday, the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency was trending when the cryptocurrency payment gateway, NOWPayments, merged its Point-of-Sale (PoS) terminal with the SHIB token, and Shiba released the first concept art of its metaverse, nicknamed the WAGMI (We're All Gonna Make It) temple.
NOWPayments, a significant participant in the cryptocurrency payment business, accepts over 50 cryptocurrencies, including eight stablecoins. There is now a use case for the meme currency.
The Bitcoin payment procedure is automated via NOWpayments' Point-of-Sale (PoS) terminal. In contrast to other PoS systems that employ physical hardware, its PoS terminal is entirely web-based. As a result, its PoS can handle a wide range of devices, including desktops and mobile phones.
Because of Shiba's partnership with NOWPayments, businesses can pay employees with SHIB tokens.
The mass payment system of NOWPayments will let businesses make group payments, such as salaries, in SHIB tokens, allowing them to develop a new automated payroll system.
Shiba Reveals the First Concept Art of Its Metaverse
Shiba also showed the WAGMI (We're All Gonna Make It) temple, inspired by genuine temples worldwide and symbolizing the community's optimistic attitude.
It has collaborated with THE THIRD FLOOR (TTF), a Los Angeles-based visualization firm, to build the metaverse. TTF had previously worked on Episode 3 of Star Wars. TTF, according to reports, "wants to create a Zen-like space for calming effects, meditation, and natural beauty."
