Microsoft Rolls Out Copilot to Developers for AI Adoption

Microsoft is launching the Microsoft 365 Copilot tool to encourage more developers to utilize artificial intelligence, with a focus on increasing AI tool adoption.

Pilot tests have been conducted to gauge usability of AI tools, and the company is planning a broader release of Microsoft 365, including the Copilot tool.

The Copilot tool is Microsoft's generative AI assistant, developed in collaboration with OpenAI's large language models, and it is integrated into Microsoft's productivity suite.

Microsoft's investment and partnership with OpenAI, coupled with the growing demand for cloud services and AI applications, have contributed to its status.

In November, Microsoft began offering Copilot as a standalone AI assistant for tasks such as summarizing emails, creating slideshows, priced at $30 per month.
