Intel Unveils the 'AI PC' at Software Developer Event
According to the business, a new Intel processor arriving in December will be able to operate a generative AI chatbot on a laptop.
The technology, shown by Intel at a software developer conference in Silicon Valley, might allow organizations and individuals to test ChatGPT-style services.
It is made feasible by new AI data-crunching technologies included in Intel's next "Meteor Lake" laptop processor, as well as new software tools released by the firm.
During the conference, Intel displayed computers that could generate a Taylor Swift-style song and answer questions in a conversational tone while away from the Internet.
Microsoft's "Copilot" AI helper, according to CEO Pat Gelsinger, will be able to work on Intel-based PCs.
