Google's AI Project Aims to Cut Down Pollution Levels in Three Indian Cities

The 'Green Light' project by Google, an AI initiative, seeks to lower vehicular pollution emissions in Indian cities.

To improve traffic signals, the initiative makes use of AI and Google Maps driving trends.

In Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, it has already been put into practice.

The technology can synchronize waves of green lights by analyzing traffic signals at different locations.

In the 12 cities where it is used, the technology can reduce emissions and save fuel for up to 30 million car trips per month.
