Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, warned that AI would eventually eliminate all employment.
But he feels this is not necessarily a bad thing, according to CNN.
Musk remarked, "Probably none of us will have a job," during a startup and tech gathering in Paris on Thursday.
Elon Musk spoke remotely via webcam at the Viva Tech event, predicting a future in which work will be "optional."
Musk stated that for this scenario to occur, there must be a "universal high income," which should not be mistaken for a universal basic income; however, he did not expound on this notion.
