Cisco Launches $1 Billion Investment Fund for AI Development

Cisco has announced a US$1 billion fund to invest in the startup ecosystem and boost the development of safe and trustworthy AI solutions.

As part of the new AI fund, Cisco is making strategic investments in Cohere, Mistral AI, and Scale AI, among others, to "advance customers' AI readiness.

Cisco stated that it had invested almost $200 million of the $1 billion investment fund to date.
