Britain Plans to Invest 100 Million Pounds into AI Research
Britain announced on Tuesday that it will invest more than 100 million pounds to establish nine new research hubs in AI and train regulators on the technology.
The government said that over 90 million pounds will be allocated to the centres, which would focus on the use of AI in fields such as healthcare, chemistry, and mathematics.
Another ten million pounds would assist regulators in addressing the dangers and capitalizing on the benefits of artificial intelligence.
These may include establishing practical instruments to monitor risks in areas ranging from telecoms and healthcare to banking and education.
More than 25 nations signed the "Bletchley Declaration," which focuses on identifying shared hazards and creating cross-country mitigation plans
