Analysts Foresee A ‘Cold Shower’ For the Overrated Generative AI In 2024

According to research released Tuesday by analysis firm CCS Insight, generative artificial intelligence will experience a "cold shower" in 2024 as prices linked with the technology rise.

According to Ben Wood, generative AI has gotten "overhyped" and smaller producers of the technology may encounter issues as it becomes "too expensive" to run.

However, CCS Insight forecasts that regulation of AI in the European Union will stall owing to rapid technological breakthroughs.
