AI and ML Get a Boost from Tachyum's 192-core Processor Chip

New EDA tools will be used for the Prodigy Universal Processor's physical design phase, as stated by Tachyum.

Prodigy core count increasing to 192 was expected in prior chip specs.

Tachyum began working on refining the Prodigy's physical design after RTL design coding.

Replacing IP began by updating RTL simulation and physical design tools by the Prodigy design team.

Using new EDA tools, Tachyum tweaked the settings and options to boost the core count by 50 percent, and SERDES from 64 to 96 per chip.
