Kneron, an AI chip maker, has raised US$25 million funding with Lite-On Technology, a Taiwanese optoelectronic pioneer. Since its inception in 2015, the company has raised US$125 million. Kneron is a semiconductor company that is accelerating machine learning and many other applications. Besides, the company is also using its AI chips in autonomous driving vehicles.
Suki.AI
The healthtech startup, Suki.AI, has raised US$55 million in a Series C funding round led by March Capital. Other participants include Philips Ventures, Venrock, Flare Capital, Breyer Capital, and inHealth Ventures. The company said that the fund will be sued to make strategic investments. Suki.AI will also use the funding to enhance its AI capabilities and support Suki Assistant and Suki Speech Platform.
Overjet
Overjet is a dental Ai startup founded in 2018 and based in Boston. The company has raised US$42.5 million in a Series B funding round led by General Catalyst and Insight Partners with participation from existing investors Crosslink Capital and MIT-affiliated E14 fund. The company is aiming to revolutionize dental healthcare by using AI to improve patient care.
Haomo.AI
Haomo.AI, a Chinese autonomous driving startup has secured US$157 million in a funding round led by Hillhouse Capital. The company said that it will use the funding to bet on smart car technologies. Haomo.AI is also expected to make its Level 2 semi-autonomous driving system, which requires supervision by a human driver, available in 34 vehicle models by the end of 2022.
Dista
Dista, a deeptech startup, has raised US$1.2 million in a seed funding round led by Pentathlon Ventures in participation with Core 91 and other individual investors. Founded in 2017 and registered as an independent entity in 2020, Dista is on a mission to democratize location intelligence for enterprises.
Haber
Haber, an AI-based robotics startup, has raised US$20 million in a Series B funding round led by Ascent Capital. Other participants who contributed to the funding include Accel, Elevation Capital, Beenext, Mukul Chawla, and the founders of GreyOrange, and Samay Kohli ad Akash Gupta. Haber develops AI-driven industrial robots which automate the manual process of sample collection, measurement, analysis, and intervention at factories.
