The multi-city Dil-Luminati Tour concert was held on November 3 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) in Sitapura

Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has apologized to fans who had been duped by ticket fraud in Jaipur. Addressing the audience on November 3, during his Dil-Luminati concert at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre, Dosanjh expressed regret for fans who were duped in an attempt to catch the sold-out performance. He assured the fans that his team is not responsible for the fraud and that authorities are investigating the matter currently.

As reported by India Today, during the concert, Diljit Dosanjh said, “If anyone has fallen victim to a ticketing scam, I apologise to that person. We have not done this. Authorities are currently investigating the matter.”  He also cautioned fans, urging them to “stay away from those involved in the scam.”

The Dosanjh had attributed the problem to the overwhelming demand for the tickets, which according to him sold faster than what he anticipated his team needed. “Our tickets sold out so fast, even we didn’t get to know”, he said and even admitted that an unexpected response went into the sale of fraudulent tickets.

Before the event, the Jaipur Police had issued a warning about fake ticket scams related to Dosanjh’s concert. A post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) alerted attendees to only purchase tickets from official sources like Zomato Live and Scope Entertainment. “SCAM ALERT!! Beware of fake tickets! Only valid tickets will be valid for entry into Diljit Dosanjh’s concert,” the post read, further warning that entry would be denied to anyone holding counterfeit tickets. Authorities urged fans to avoid unauthorized sellers to protect themselves from scams.

Dil-Luminati Tour has added multiple additional dates as it travels across Indian cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. Earlier this year, he took his fanbase beyond borders as he conducted shows in Europe, performing in Paris, London, Dublin, and Amsterdam. This April, he became the first Punjabi artist ever to perform at Vancouver's BC Place Stadium and the first Indian artist to grace the cover of Billboard Canada.

The actor is going to feature in JP Dutta's Border 2 along with Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. He has another project in his kitty, No Entry 2, with Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
