Nifty 50 Surges Past 24,600: Top Gainers Include Bharti Airtel, ITC, and HCL 

 

The stock market today has been performing almost flat. The Nifty 50 has seen a positive surge by surpassing the 24600 mark after staying low for more than 2 hours. The upward trend has been because of strong performance from sectors like IT, Telecom, FMCG, Banks, Finance houses etc.

Bharti Airtel is leading itself among the NIFTY 50 with a growth of more than 4% approx. The stock opened at Rs 1616.95 and went on a day high of Rs 1680.15. Currently, the stock is trading at Rs 1678.75 and is expected to surge more.

 

ITC

 

The ITC stock is currently trading at Rs 470.25. which is slightly up from yesterday’s closing price. The stock went on a day high of Rs 474.49 and is currently running at Rs 470.10 which is more than a 2% surge from its opening price.

 

Ultra Tech Cement

 

The construction sector giant Ultra Tech has also seen a positive bias today where its stock has been trading at Rs 12100.30, which is 2% more than its opening price of Rs 11800.05. The strong quarterly results and demand for the products have significantly contributed to the stock price increase.

 

HUL

 

The leader of the FMCG sector, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), has shown a positive trend today, with stock getting over 1.5% from its opening bid. The stock opened at Rs 2348.20 and went on a day high of Rs 2,394.55. The current LTP of the stock is Rs 2,391.25 and is expected to surge more. The brand’s strong focus on its portfolio and financial performance has contributed to the positive market segment.

 

Kotak Mahindra

 

The Kotak Mahindra Bank shares have seen a positive trend today, with their shares trading at LTP Rs 1802.80, which is almost 2% from its opening stock price of Rs 1769.35. HCL Technologies has also seen a positive surge with an almost 1.5% hike from its opening bid of Rs 1928.55. The LPT of the stock is Rs 1971.25 and is expected to grow more because of growth in digital transformation services and good financial performance.

The stock performance of Nestle has seen a positive surge today with an increase of 1.35% from its last closing price. The stock went to the day high of Rs 2257 per stock price and the current LTP of the stock is Rs 2255.
