The long-anticipated wedding of cricketer Smriti Mandhana and Palash Mucchal has been postponed after an emergency hospitalization of her father. On the other hand, Mucchal’s leaked private chats with another woman caught netizens’ attention. The situation further exacerbated when Smriti reportedly deleted all her wedding photos from her Instagram account, hinting at a possible breakup.

After the couple’s wedding was postponed, conversations on social media led to intense speculations. Fans were seen talking about the fact that Smriti Mandhana and her teammates had removed all her wedding pictures and engagement announcement and proposal videos from their Instagram. 

At the same time, unverified claims of Palash Muchhal cheating also began to circulate widely. Screenshots of alleged "flirty chats" between Palash and another woman were shared on Reddit. "The chats are definitely real but the timing is unknown," one Redditor commented, showing confusion.

Another thread alleged that Palash was seen kissing a woman four days before the engagement. These serious allegations are still unconfirmed by major news outlets. However, the timing of deleted posts and unverified rumours has created intense online drama surrounding the couple.

Double Health Scare Halts Ceremony

The wedding ceremony, scheduled for a Sunday afternoon in Maharashtra’s Sangli district, was postponed after Smriti’s father, Srinivas Mandhana, suffered chest pain at the venue. He was immediately hospitalized for treatment and observation. Doctors confirmed that he showed symptoms of angina pectoris, a condition often associated with coronary heart disease.

While the family was managing this serious setback, a second health issue arose. Smriti Mandhana’s fiancé, Palash Muchhal, was also taken to a private hospital as he fell ill with a viral infection.

His mother stated that the emotional stress over Smriti's father's condition took a heavy toll. Palash insisted the wedding would not proceed until Srinivas Mandhana fully recovered. The couple has decided to reschedule the event once both family members are in stable health.
