SAP Solutions welcomes Joule, the powerful AI assistant redefining content creation

SAP, a global leader in enterprise software, has unveiled its latest innovation in the field of artificial intelligence: Joule, a potent AI assistant designed to revolutionize content creation. This groundbreaking technology is set to transform the way businesses generate various types of content, from reports and articles to marketing materials and more.

SAP SE has announced Joule, a natural-language, generative AI copilot that will transform how businesses operate. Joule will be integrated into SAP's cloud enterprise portfolio, providing proactive and contextualized insights from SAP solutions and third-party sources. By swiftly sorting and contextualizing data from multiple systems to surface smarter insights, Joule accelerates work processes, fostering improved business outcomes while maintaining security and compliance. Joule exemplifies SAP's history of groundbreaking technology that delivers tangible results.

Christian Klein, CEO and Executive Board member of SAP SE stated, "With nearly 300 million enterprise users worldwide regularly utilizing SAP's cloud solutions, Joule has the potential to redefine how businesses, and the individuals behind them, operate. Joule leverages SAP's unique position at the intersection of business and technology and extends our approach to Business AI, which is relevant, reliable, and responsible. Joule comprehends your intentions, not just your words.

SAP will embed Joule into its applications, spanning HR, finance, supply chain, procurement, and customer experience, as well as the SAP Business Technology Platform. Joule revolutionizes the SAP user experience, functioning as a knowledgeable colleague. Employees can simply pose questions or articulate problems in plain language and receive intelligent responses derived from extensive business data across SAP and third-party sources, maintaining context.

Over 26,000 SAP cloud customers currently have access to SAP's Business AI capabilities, which Joule builds upon and enhances. SAP's all-encompassing strategy for creating a future enterprise AI ecosystem includes direct investments, as disclosed in July with Aleph Alpha, Anthropic, and Cohere, as well as strategic alliances, as disclosed in May, with market giants like Microsoft, Google Cloud, and IBM. A global software venture capital firm funded by SAP, Sapphire Ventures LLC, is also pledging over US$1 billion to promote entrepreneurs in business technology driven by AI.
