The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series is expected to launch later this year alongside the alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable. The company has yet to confirm any shipments but there has been plenty of speculation over the past few weeks.

A Galaxy Club report looked at the upcoming smartwatch's battery details at the Safety Korea certification center. The battery with model number EB-BL705ABY is listed as having a rated capacity of 578mAh. This is higher than the rated capacity of the 573mAh battery used in the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and sold as 590mAh.
So, a smartwatch that carries a bigger battery than the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro could be the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro. Previous reports claimed that the Galaxy Watch 7 series will come with three variants - of which, one is the Pro model. Notably, the Galaxy Watch 6 series launched on a July 2023 along with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7 lineup will reportedly only come with an eSIM-supported variant with Wi-Fi. The former is expected to come with model numbers SM-L300 and SM-L305, while the latter is said to come with model numbers SM-L310 and SM-L315. The top-of-the-line third variant of the rumored Galaxy Watch 7 Pro is expected to have model numbers SM-L700 and SM-L705. All devices ending in number five are said to support cellular e-SIM connectivity, while other models may only support Wi-Fi.
The Galaxy Watch 7 model is also tipped to feature 32GB of onboard storage, which is a significant improvement over the 16GB available on the Galaxy Watch 6 model. The alleged smartwatches will be powered by the new Wear OS and One UI Watch and will come with an advanced 3nm chipset that can produce up to 50 percent more processing power than the current model.
