Renault India has also launched the new model, Night and Day Limited Edition of the small car Kwid
Renault-Nissan is set to launch six new products for a total outlay of 5,300 crore. In February 2023 Renault-Nissan invested US$600 million ( about Rs 5,300 crore) in India aiming to launch six new models, including two electric vehicles, and to enhance their Chennai manufacturing facility.
Currently, Renault India features three models including the small car Kwid, the premium hatchback Kiger, and the multi-utility vehicle Triber.
At an event on Wednesday, Renault India Country CEO and Managing Director Venkatram Mamillapalle said that about 70%-80% of the total investment has been invested so far.
Additionally, Venkatram Mamillapalle said, "We have announced investments of Rs 5,300 crore to introduce six new products. It (the project) is on schedule. You will be hearing from us hereafter, very soon (on the launch of new models).”
Night and Day Limited Edition of the Triber by Renault India
According to company officials, the Night and Day Limited Edition of the Triber will be priced at over Rs 20,000 more than the RXL manual version, which is priced at Rs 7 lakh (Ex-showroom).
Additionally, the Night and Day Limited Edition of the Kiger, a premium hatchback, will have a base price of Rs 6,74,990, with an extra charge of Rs 15,000.
On the other hand, the Night and Day Limited Edition of the small car Kwid, which comes with a variety of features, will be sold at the current sale price of Rs 4,99,500 (Ex-showroom).
The latest versions come with a variety of features such as a dual tone pearl white exterior and a black roof, a 9-inch touchscreen, black wheel covers, black grille, and a black nameplate, among other features. Mamillapalle refused to comment on the launch date of the products.
