Redmi Unveils Note 14 Series with Premium Features at Competitive Prices
Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi’s subsidiary, Redmi is unveiling its much-awaited Note 14 series in India on December 09. The launch is scheduled to start at 12 PM and comes after the lineup performed well in China earlier this year. The series includes three models: Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 brand, and Redmi Note 14 pro+. Read on to learn more about the specs, features and pricing of these new smartphones.
Premium Features Across the Lineup
The global version of the Redmi Note 14 series is expected to mirror its Chinese counterparts. The highlight is the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, featuring a curved AMOLED display, IP68 rating for protection from water and dust, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, 50MP telephoto camera and more. All of these are new improvements in terms the of design and build of Redmi’s mid-range smartphones.
The rumour has that the Redmi Note 14 may include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a frequency rate of 120 Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chip, and 50 MP of the main camera. It is expected to pack a 5,110mAh battery with fast charging of 45W.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Pro variant of this phone might include, a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset. It will likely come equipped with a triple rear camera, a 5,500mAh battery, and 45W fast charging.
The Pro+ model stands out with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, a primary 50MP camera, and a 90W fast charge 6,200 mAh battery.
Pricing and Availability
The details about the pricing are expected to be unveiled during the launch. However, leaks indicate competitive pricing. The Redmi Note 14 could come for as low as ₹21,999 for 6GB RAM with 128GB storage going up to ₹24,999. Beginning with the Note 14 Pro, the company could begin from an asking price of ₹28,999 and Note 14 Pro+ might come for ₹34,999 for the base variant. Top-of-the-line line Pro+ variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage could reportedly go for ₹39,999.
