Here’s How You Can Join the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, Win the ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ Contest, and Download Certificate
With the country’s 79th Independence Day approaching, the Ministry of Culture has launched the fourth edition of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. As part of this campaign, citizens are requested to hoist the Indian flag at workplaces, schools, colleges, and homes and upload their selfie at the official site.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, runs from 2 August to 15 August. Citizens all over the country are encouraged to participate actively in this campaign. Here’s how you can participate and get a digital certificate.
How to Participate in Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign?
Participating in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign entails a simple online process. Citizens can follow the steps below to get started:
- Hoist the National flag at your institute, workplace, home, or any other place in order to participate in this campaign.
- Take a selfie (the person and flag should appear) with the Indian flag and upload it to the official government portal, “harghartiranga.com/selfie.”
- Enter the participant's name and mobile number along with some other details to register.
- The participant will be able to download the PDF certificate as soon as the registration is complete.
- The certificate can be shared on social media platforms to encourage others to join the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
What is the Objective of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign?
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was launched in 2022 as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative to promote unity, patriotism, and a sense of national pride among people. The Ministry of Culture has affirmed that the certificate received upon registration will be recognized as an official digital memento of the citizen’s contribution.
The government strongly encourages all Indian citizens to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign during the upcoming Independence Day to show their love for the nation. In addition to the certificate, people will also get an official Har Ghar Tiranga e-card for their participation.
