PM Modi at UP Trade Show Inspires Indians Towards the Goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently visited the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show in Gautam Buddha Nagar. At the trade show, he talked about how India’s economy is growing despite the disruptions caused by other countries. The PM also emphasized the need for self-reliance for India to rapidly progress towards Viksit Bharat by 2047.

India's Need for Economic Self-Reliance

At the international trade show in Greater Noida, PM Modi discussed a few key points concerning India’s self-reliance. He said, “Today, India is progressing towards the goal of becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047. Despite the disruptions and uncertainties in the world, India’s growth remains attractive.”

He further added, “Disruptions do not deter us; instead, we find new directions and opportunities within them.” PM Modi highlighted how India is building a strong foundation for the coming decades and that a self-reliant India is the mantra to achieve this goal.

The Prime Minister strongly emphasized Aatmanirbhar Bharat's importance, saying, “In a changing world, the more a country depends on others, the more its growth will be compromised. Therefore, a country like India cannot afford to rely on anyone. India must become Aatmanirbhar. Every product that can be made in India should be made in India itself.”

Revitalization of India's Maritime Sector

PM Modi announced that the Indian government is putting a tremendous effort into the success of the Make In India initiative. The country is planning to manufacture everything from chips to ships in India. He also shared that the government has legalized many rules concerning small mistakes in business.

The Prime Minister shared the Union Cabinet’s approval of a big package of Rs. 69,725 crore to revitalize India’s shipbuilding. This package intends to improve long-term financing and domestic capability, support greenfield and brownfield shipyard development, and much more.

PM Modi talked about how a large dependency on a different country can disrupt India's economy. Therefore, he emphasized Aatmanirbhar Bharat and the goal of becoming Visit Bharat by 2047.

He highlighted that India is already progressing towards its goal with an attractive growth rate despite other countries' restrictions. Finally, he mentioned that the Union Cabinet has approved a package to develop India’s shipbuilding technology, which involves financing, improving domestic capacity, etc.
