Motorola Charts New Course in India with Appointment of Visionary Managing Director for Mobile Business Group
Motorola announced Wednesday that T.M. Narasimhan has been appointed to lead the India business and will report to Prashantmani who will lead Motorola’s Asia-Pacific business. Narasimhan brings with him extensive experience in retail operations, financial management in operations, and P&L management, having held various roles in FMCG, and consumer technology brands such as PepsiCo, Britannia, and Samsung.
Motorola on Wednesday announced the appointment of TM Narasimhan as managing director of India’s Mobile Business Group.
Narasimhan will oversee Motorola’s India business, the company said in a statement.
With a focus on the Indian smartphone market and a vision to be among the top three smartphone brands, Motorola has chosen TM to lead its India business.
He will report to Prashantmani, who will lead Motorola’s Asia-Pacific business.
According to the release, Narasimhan brings a wealth of experience in the retail industry, marketing and financial management, having held various roles in FMCG, and consumer technology companies such as PepsiCo, Britannia and Samsung.
