LG Unveils Next-Gen QNED AI TVs with Quantum Dot and NanoCell Technologies

LG Electronics has launched the latest iteration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) TVs in India with sizes varying from 43 inches to 97 inches. In 2024, LG OLED EVO AI and LG QNED AI TV will be offered like LG OLED 97G4. The new lineup starts at Rs 62,990.

Additionally, the company confirmed that the latest OLED AI TVs boast advanced AI upscaling capabilities, enhance backgrounds, and optimize through accurate pixel-level image analysis so the picture is better using AI technology, the LG OLED AI TV enables a clearer, sharper viewing experience and also offers real-time upscaling when viewing sub-4K OTT content.

With the launch of the new device, LG has committed to optimizing TVs for the next five years with upgradeable webOS. "A consumer who buys a TV for the first time in 2024 won't feel outdated, and it will continue to look brand new in 2028 and 2029. It's a big, bold promise that LG has made today," Bhansali adds.

LG's 2024 QNED AI TVs: This model features the next generation of LCD technology and a combination of two color technologies: Quantum Dot and NanoCell, which create sharp contrast and exceptional brightness on the TV thanks to local dimming technology.

The QNED line-up has further advanced with the QNED MiniLED TV, described as the next best thing from OLED. The LG QNED AI TV’s Artificial Intelligence capabilities enhance the picture quality and also boast premium audio quality with virtual 9.1.2 surround sound.

The LG OLED AI TV and QNED AI TV continue to support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos picture and audio enhancement capabilities. A new ‘FILMMAKER MODE’ is available. allowing users to watch the film exactly as the director intended.

LG smart TVs have built-in Apple AirPlay and Google Chromecast so that users can shoot content from their mobile devices effortlessly. LG promises 5 years of OS updates under the new webOS plan.
