Last week, Itel unveiled the P55 series smartphones in India, referring to the P55 and P55+ models in its Power series. The phones can now be bought in India through Amazon.in, with banks offering them. The Itel P55 is offered in Moonlit Black, Aurora Blue and Brilliant Gold colours, priced at Rs. 7499 for the 4GB (8GB virtual RAM) + 128GB storage variant (or Rs 6999 with a bank discount of Rs 500). It can be purchased on Amazon.in.

Meanwhile, the Itel P55+ is available in Royal Green and Meteor Black shades, priced at Rs. 9999 for the 8GB (8GB virtual RAM) variant (or Rs 9499 with Rs 500 bank discount).

The new handset features an iPhone-like Dynamic Bar that allows users to quickly access information and scroll through content. Both Itel P55 and Itel P55+ come with up to 256GB of storage on a Unisoc T606 SoC. Like today’s Itel handsets, the Itel P55 series offers support for Memory Fusion technology to expand onboard memory by not using storage.They are backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. The Itel P55+ has support for 45W fast charging.

The Itel P55 is priced at Rs. 7,999 for the 12GB RAM (including Virtual RAM) + 128GB storage version no. Available in Aurora Blue, Moonlit Black and Brilliant Gold colors. The Itel P55+ offers front unlock and is equipped with a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Connectivity on the devices includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G, an audio jack and a USB Type-C port.

Itel has included 5,000 mAh battery units in both Itel P55 and Itel P55+. The former supports 18W fast charging, while the latter supports 45W fast charging. The 45W fast charging technology is claimed to increase battery capacity by 70 percent in 30 minutes.
