The all-new Hyundai Ioniq 9: A futuristic three-row electric SUV with top tech and 620 km range

Hyundai introduced the Ioniq 9 as the first electrifying marvel ahead of the LA Auto Show. As the flagship electric SUV from this house, this three-row powerhouse promises to redefine comfort, style, and performance in the EV market.

A Big Leap in EV Space

The Hyundai Ioniq 9 comes with an ambitious 110.3 kWh battery, which promises a driving range of up to 620 km. There are two models of this SUV: Long-Range and Performance. For the Long-Range model, there are rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options; the Performance model is centered around power with AWD. Even the acceleration lives up to all expectations; within 5.2 seconds, it goes from 0 to 100 km/h, for example.

Comfort Meets Innovation

Inside, the Ioniq 9 packs plush seating with a spacious cabin designed for relaxation. Options including swiveling second-row seats and massage functionality make this SUV a "living room on wheels." Sleekness flows through to its technology upgrades, which feature twin 12-inch displays, ambient lighting, and a premium Bose sound system.

Fast Charging and Future-Ready Tech

The SUV can support fast charging. It reaches an 80% capacity in only 24 minutes using a 350 kW charger. The Ioniq 9 is the first Hyundai with bi-directional charging, so it can potentially supply power to your home in the event of an outage. Personalization and upgrades for drivers come by over-the-air updates as well as through Hyundai's "Features on Demand" app store.

Hyundai Unbridled Ambition

Based on Hyundai's E-GMP platform, the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, and Ioniq 9 embody the company's push toward sustainable mobility. Its bold design includes parametric pixel LED lights, aerodynamic curves, and thoughtful functionality, like Tesla Supercharger compatibility.

In 2025, the production line of Ioniq 9 will begin in Georgia and enter the global market as a 2026 model. The prices have not yet been released, but it is promised that the rates will be more or less competitive with customer expectations.
